Our Story
We began writing our novel in 2000, not long after Nelson Mandela became the first black President in South Africa.
Kismet wasn’t intended as a political manifesto, but rather a story of love and betrayal, despair and hope. In the process of co-authoring, we were confronted by the truth of the inhumanities which had become the norm of apartheid.
Kismet is fiction, based on reality, a light read of intense human drama. We hope you love getting to know the characters as much as we enjoyed creating them.
